With his first solo exhibition at the age of 16, Spaniard artist Romulo Celdran is one of the hardest and most recognized artists in the game. He recently showcased at Art Basel last week in Zurich and has been a part of copious art fairs. His artwork has been featured on the catwalks of Paris Fashion Week for Dutch designer Boris Schipper, High Touch: Visual Design and Tactile Explorations, Realismus- das Abenteuer der Wirklichkeit, Courbet-Hopper-Gursky- a touring exhibition through Germany and The Netherlands (2010), alongside the works of Manet, Courbet, Chuck Close, Walker Evans, Duane Hanson, Julian Opie, Gerhard Richter, Thomas Ruff and Daniel Spoerri. When he's not winning the Francesco Messina Foundation Premio Internazionale Giovane Scultura, the Sovereign European Art Prize, and MAPFRE Foundation Penagos Drawing Prize you can see his larger than life sculptures in NYC, Switzerland and Madrid.
