Everything an art enthusiast could dream of is at Art Basel this week in Basel, Switzerland from June 18th-21st. It is the holy grail of high quality and contemporary art. It is the only time you can stand and stare at a piece for endless hours, not alone, but amongst visitors, collectors, curators, artists, writers, gallerists- from all over the world who understand your drooling passion for Pascale Marthine Tayou plastic tree, Julius Von Bismarck live installation, Jim Lambie, Carlos Cruzdiez lenticular installations, Jan Kossen's conceptual abstracts, Ugo Rondinone's vibrant sculptures, neolithic vases by Ai Weiwei, Adrian Ghenies contemporary oil-paintings and last but not least, Dan Flavin's neon installations. My mouth could not be as wet as the tears streaming down my face for the lack of missing out, major FOMO over Art Basel in Basel, Switzerland. Thank's to social media and technology, I can feel like I'm right there with my fellow art enthusiasts!
